How to Fix Feety Jammies

Supplies:

• feety jammies with holes in the feet
• tissue paper (pattern)
• pen/marker
• scissors
• fleece (any color will do...I used some left overs I had stashed away)
• pins
• sewing maching/serger

First you'll turn the jammies inside out and flatten out the feet. Trace the bottom of one of the feet onto the tissue paper with a marker/pen then cut it out.

Place new foot pattern onto fleece. I doubled up the fleece so I only had to cut the pattern out once.

Here is what you have:
Next you'll pin the two fleece feet onto the bottom of the jammies.

Then sew the fleece onto the jammies. I used a serger then did a straight stitch just inside the serged edge for added durability. If you don't have a serger just zig zag around the edge and then do a straight stitch just inside the zig zag.

Here it what it looks like from the bottom after it's been sewn.

Voila! Good as new...well, almost. There's now a lot more life to these jammies (and one other pair) since they still fit and they're super soft and comfy to wear...or so I'm told. :)

Dino Mite Bib

So I made this about 2 weeks ago just after I got my gypsy for the cricut. I have had fun playing with it but not had enough time :( I do however love how this bib turned out.

Supplies:
bib (I got mine in a 10 pk at Babies R Us)
fabric (assorted colors)
Heat 'n Bond lite (for sewing)

Time: 30-45 minutes

I cut out the pieces in assorted colors, arranged them where I wanted them, ironed them on, then sewed around each item to secure it. I love, love, LOVE the little dinosaur!

Cooper's Tie

I was changing Cooper's diaper when I noticed that the blue on the changing pad cover matched his plain onesie and I knew just what to do. I had a little piece of the fabric left over so I used my cricut to cut out then ironed on his tie. I LOVE it!!!! Cooper is 10 weeks old already! Time flies!

Time: 5-10 minutes

Supplies:

Cricut (either one)

Paper Dolls cartridge

Fabric

Heat 'n' Bond Ultra (no sew)

Iron

Plain onesie/t-shirt

I don't know what he was looking at but I couldn't get him to look at me no matter what I did.

Cricut Fabric Halloween T-Shirts

So...I've been having a lot of fun playing with my Cricut/Gypsy lately. I have many projects in the works. Here is the latest one that I finished. The girls both picked the same to images from my Mini Monsters cartridge and I added the greeting. I think they turned out spooktacular!

Time: 3-4 hours (this was my first major fabric project so it took me a little longer (5-6 hours) to figure it out and work out the kinks)

Supplies:

• Cricut (either one will work)
• Gypsy (optional, but makes this project so much easier)
• Fabric (assorted colors)
• Heat 'n' Bond Ultra (no sew)
• Iron
• Painters tape (blue, optional but holds down the fabric well on the mat so there is no slipping and doesn't ruin the tackiness of the cutting mat. SAVES your fabric and TIME cutting things out more than once.)
• T-shirts

I made my witch 5" and my ghost 4" and the greeting 4".

Christmas Card Workshop

Can you believe the holidays are upon us already? I'm excited to share the cards you can order for the Christmas Card Workshop! I've priced the cards so that it is economical for you to make enough for everyone on your list. However, they do not include envelopes. If you'd like to include envelopes so you can stamp them to coordinate at the workshop add an additional $2.00 for each set of 10 cards. Each card is priced out for a quantity of 10. On most of the cards the greetings are interchangable to suit your style.

Fee: Varies depending on the card(s) you choose

Dates/Times: Wednesday, December 1st from 6-10 pm, or Saturday, December 4th from 9:30 am- 1:30 pm

I must have all orders in to me by Monday, November 22nd to ensure you get the card design(s) and quantities that you want. I will accept orders until Monday, November 29th but cards will only be available based upon supplies I have on hand so call or e-mail to place your order today! All cards must be prepaid. I accept cash, check, or paypal (sent to chubby_bunnies@yahoo.com. Include $2 extra to help cover fees).

*If you can't make it to one of the classes but really want the projects I charge a fee to cut and punch your projects then I'll get you pictures and instructions so you can assemble them. You will need to use one of your stamp sets or purchase the stamp set used to stamp your projects.

I've been wanting to make one of these for a while now to hang on my fridge. I even cut out all the shopping lists and kept grabbing one off the pile as I needed one. Well, today I finally put it together. I think it turned out super cute! Maybe I should make a few for my next boutique....

World Card Making Day--Stamp-A-Stack

Owl Punch Class Projects

Ok...so we had more projects than we had time but they were all so cute I couldn't decide! Here are the pics so those who came can finish assembling their Halloween box and those who didn't come are jealous! :) I'm thinking about holding one more class for the owl punch because I had some people not able to make it but really want to come. Halloween Treat Box

I started with an 8.25"x8.25" square in Basic Black cardstock. I scored in 2.75" from all directions and then score each corner of the square diagonally (I'll make an official tutorial after my boutique this weekend 11/20).

Upcoming Boutique

I've been busy crafting for an upcoming boutique called "Simple Treasures" at the Farmington Legacy Events Center that is Sept. 22-25. Here are a couple items that are finished and I have a few more in the works. They've ben fun to make.

August Club Projects

We used Make a Monster and Jumble Alphabet stamp sets to complete our pages. Colors we used are the new Poppy Parade, Peach Parfait, returning color Wild Wasabi, Whisper White, and Sahara Sand. I just love how these pages turned out. The monsters were a blast to stamp with!
For our card we used Word Play. It is a fund new stamp set with so much versatility. We also used the new Cork material and a texturez plate with the Big Shot. Super simple yet still super cute! Colors we used were River Rock, Not Quite Navy, and Tangerine Tango.

UPCOMING 2010 FALL CLASSES

Owl Punch Class
Fee: $30 (includes the owl punch), $12 if you own the punch

Did you know that you can use the new owl punch for much more than just owls? Come and learn a ton of fun ways to use the new Owl Punch! Just to give you a few ideas....we're going to make a pig, cow, penguin, moose (I'm super excited about this one!!!), etc. The class fee includes your very own owl punch and a few projects to learn how versatile this punch really is. Call or e-mail to join the class. This class is pre-pay only and must be pre-paid by Wed. Sept. 8th. The fee for the class is $30. Class space is limited so secure your spot today! If you invite a friend, you and your friend will get a $5 discount on the class.

World Card Making Day--Stamp-A-Stack

The pages were made using a new stamp set from the Stampin' Up! Summer Mini Catalog called July Fourth. It is super cute!

We used builder wheels and smooch spritz for the card. It is hard to see but the happy birthday and the stars are all shimmery. I love shimmer!

Rag Quilt Baby Girl Blanket

I found my camera cord and now I can finally start posting again!!! Her is one of my latest projects. I finished it just in time for Katelin's baby shower this past Wednesday and now I'm busy working on a little boy version since I'm having my baby this coming Thursday. WOW! It took a lot of time and I was very satisfied with the finished product. It is SO soft and cuddly I wanted to keep it for myself...and probably would have had I been having a girl. :)

The blanket is crib sized so it's approximately 45" x 60".
